Physiotherapy is a regulated profession in Croatia with the title Bachelor Physiotherapists (Baccalureus Fizioterapeut).

The Parliament of the Republic of Croatia on 3 October 2008 passed an act on physiotherapy services and initiated the establishment of the Croatian Association of Physiotherapists.

The rules of professional conduct (code of ethics) are determined directly by Croatian Council for Physiotherapists. Croatia requires a registration to practise by the Croatian Council for Physiotherapists. The physiotherapist must be registered with the Croatian Council of Physiotherapists and obtain a licence to practise.

The national authority responsible for the physiotherapy profession in Croatia is the Croatian Council for Physiotherapists (69).
